The curriculum covers the full scope of ICF Mentor Coach Competencies, including ethical practice, mentor-coaching agreements, co-creating developmental plans, formative assessment through observation and tracking, calibrating feedback, recognizing coach style vs. skill, and facilitating group mentoring sessions.
The program is built on the principle of "Learning through Doing", includes intensive, hands-on work with real scenarios, role-playing games, record parsing and feedback. Participants engage in case studies, role plays, and peer observation to integrate learning into their current mentoring practice.

Coaches preparing for Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) via the Credit for Prior Learning Pathway
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Model and promote ethical practice in the mentor coach role, including role differentiation and ensuring data security.
Establish and maintain agreements with the MC client, including logistics, expectations regarding certification level, and co-creating a development plan.
Manage the Mentor coaching process by creating an inclusive environment and adapting the plan to the client's needs and learning style.
Conduct formative assessments of the coach's skills, using identifying competencies with evidence and tracking trends.
Foster the client's skill development by uncovering their unique style and providing non-judgmental feedback.
Manage group mentor coaching by creating an inclusive environment and encouraging the participation of all group members.
